These terms apply to every order placed with Uprise. Please read them before you order.
1. About us
This website is operated by Mohammed Saber Uddin, trading as Uprise, a sole trader based at 185 Plashet Road, London, E13 0QZ, United Kingdom. You can contact us at info.msutrade@gmail.com or on 07477 110459.
2. Our products
We sell ergonomic sit-stand desks, task chairs, monitor arms, footrests and lumbar supports for home and small office use. Each product listing sets out the height range, weight capacity and adjustment specs for that item, along with its warranty terms.
3. Your order
When you place an order, you receive an email acknowledging it. The contract between us is formed when we email to confirm dispatch. We may decline an order if an item is out of stock or if there is an obvious pricing error, and if we decline, we refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices and we do not issue VAT invoices. Payment is taken securely through Shopify checkout.
5. Delivery
We deliver to UK addresses only. Delivery charges and timescales are set out on our Delivery page. Large items over 30kg are delivered by a two person crew or by pallet, and we call to book these in.
6. Cancellations, returns and faulty goods
Your rights to cancel and return an order are set out on our Returns and refunds page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Business customers
If you buy in the course of a business, the consumer cancellation right described on our Returns and refunds page does not apply to you, although we will always put right any goods that are faulty.
8. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
