Setting it up properly

Setting a workstation up correctly: sit with your feet flat and your hips slightly higher than your knees, set the desk so your forearms are level with the keyboard and your elbows are at about 90 degrees, and put the top of the screen at or just below eye level about an arm's length away. If your feet do not reach the floor once the desk is at elbow height, you need a footrest rather than a lower desk. A standing height is usually 20 to 25 cm above your seated height. Standing still all day is no better than sitting still all day. The change of posture is the point, so aim to alternate every 30 to 45 minutes, and remember that a sit stand desk is a tool for moving rather than a health claim in itself. Chairs can be returned within 14 days of delivery if they do not suit you, unused and in their original packaging. A chair is a personal fit and nobody should be stuck with the wrong one.
